The Hungarian National Trading House organized a business preparatory consultation in connection with the Hungarian-Iranian business forum for Hungarian businesses interested in the Iranian market on 1 February 2017. During the event the interested parties could learn about the economic and business environment, and the geopolitical significance of the program, what is essential for successful cooperation development in the country.
During the welcome speech Gábor Kun, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Hungarian National Trading House, mentioned that Iran brings significant export opportunities for Hungarian businesses, as the country will be involved in the international economic circulation in coming years.
After the opening speech Dr. Ágnes Bernek, Head of the Research Center of Zsigmond Király University, through the geographic, historical and political features assessed the country’s geopolitics of business. Later on, Tibor Sárkány, Project Manager of the Hungarian National Trading House, presented the professional activity and service portfolio of MNKH (Hungarian National Trading House Cls.).
The participating businesses had the opportunity to have personal consultations with the performers as well as with Krisztina Wittek, Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Affairs Department for Joint Economic Committees, more precisely Head of the Eurasia Department.
During the preparatory consultation, the Hungarian enterprises could gain useful professional knowledge and acquire a new approach from the Iranian market, which can also help the success of business negotiations with Iranian companies.
